Naoto Nishimura (Draw Dots Dawn) Dyeing Workshop
Indigo, the oldest natural dye known to humanity, is believed to have various benefits effective for hiking, being antibacterial, deodorizing, insect-repelling, and insulating.
By re-dyeing your faded gear or clothing that you haven't worn recently, you can revive it, turning it into a cherished item you'll use for a long time.
We encourage you to dye your unique piece yourself!

Capacity: 6 participants per session
*To allow more people to join, each person is limited to one session.
What to Bring:
Clothing or gear made from plant fibers, animal fibers, or regenerated fibers, such as T-shirts, socks, or towels.
– Plant fibers: Cotton, linen, ramie, hemp, etc.
– Animal fibers: Wool, silk, etc.
– Regenerated fibers: Lyocell, Tencel, rayon, cupro, etc.
Note: Some materials may not be suitable for dyeing due to their fiber structure or processing.*
Cost:
Price varies based on the weight of your item(s). Please weigh and pay at the booth before the session begins.
- 0-100g: ¥7,500
- 101-150g: ¥9,500
- 151-200g: ¥11,500
- 201-250g: ¥13,500
- 251-300g: ¥15,500
*You may dye up to 2 items (up to a total of 300g) per person.
Dyeing Methods:
Various dyeing methods are available, such as solid dyeing or partial dyeing. Consult the instructor on the day for guidance.
Important Notes:
- The fabric may shrink or stretch.
- The dyeing result may slightly differ from the desired intensity.
- There is a risk of damage, missing buttons, or other issues due to the -fabric's deterioration or handling. Consider removing any detachable parts beforehand.
- Areas stained with sweat, oil, or affected by deodorant or bleach may change color.
- Registration is limited to participants of the Yamatomichi Festival 2024.
